Megaupload Hack to Unlimited Download

Before doing anything, clean your browser cookies.

There is the Megaupload toolbar, that provide you some advantages when you have it installed. However, some don't want to (or can't) install it. Here is a good hack to solve this problem:

Under Internet Explorer (any version):

1. Open the Notepad

2. Use this Megaupload hack registry file or write the following lines:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform]

"MEGAUPLOAD 3.0"=""

3. Reboot Internet Explorer

4. Now download as if you have the toolbar installed !

Under Mozilla Firefox:

Hack #1

1. Open Firefox

2. In the address bar, type: "about:config" then press enter. If you have a warning message, continue anyway

3. Find "general.useragent.extra.firefox". You can type it in the filter in order to find it faster.

If it doesn't exists, create it (right click, new) and give "general.useragent.extra.firefox" as name and "Firefox/3.0.5;MEGAUPLOAD 1.0" as string.

Else click two times on the key. It should appear a "en-US" as its string; change it to "Firefox/3.0.5;MEGAUPLOAD 1.0".

4. Reboot Firefox

5. Now download as if you have the toolbar installed !

Hack #2

1. You need USER AGENT SWITCHER ADDON which can be found here.

2. Then go to the menu → Tool → user agent switcher → option → add.

3. Fill up the blanks like this:
Description : MEGAUPLOAD
User agent : Mozilla/4.0 ( compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; Alexa Toolbar

After this, before download in Megaupload go to tool → user agent → megaupload, and then you should be able to download again from Megaupload !!
